I know stepping in front of the camera can feel intimidating, but I’ll guide you through every pose, ensuring you feel comfortable and radiant. This is our process:
I. Book the date.
You can reach out to me via my contact form to discuss your boudoir session. We can hop on a consult call to discuss your session and your expectations for the photo shoot. I will send you a session fee invoice for you pay, and you will be required to pick a printed product to pay prior to your session as well.
II. Plan The Session
We’re gonna discuss exactly the vibe that you’re wanting to go for in your session. I’ll pick a location that fits your desires, and you’ll get my boudoir prep guide directly to your email for you to prepare further for your session!
III. Session Day.
When we finally reach the shoot day, you’ll be sent to an expert salon to have your hair and make up done. You’ll then head over to the studio where I’ll play some music, have a little champagne, and guide you through posing through the whole experience. If you are nervous, I understand! Everyone typically is, however, it is ultimately my job to make you look amazing.

IV. After The Session.
As soon as possible after your session, we will hop on a Zoom call to do our exciting session reveal! You’ll be able to pick your favorites for your album, and order any prints or additional products you really love. You can expect your digital copies to be sent within 30 days, and the printed products to be send within 30 days as well.

Boudoir, Wedding and Portrait Photographer
I’m Mel, the heart behind Boudoir by Mel. As a boudoir photographer, my passion is helping women see themselves the way the world sees them—strong, radiant, and absolutely beautiful. I know firsthand how easy it is to be our own worst critics, which is why I’ve created a space where you can let go of self-doubt and step into your confidence.
Do your packages include digitals?
Yes! Any printed product you purchase will come with the matching digital images.
Do you Photoshop me?
I will only do basic adjustments to your skin to remove blemishes, stray hairs, etc, and color grading. I will not modify your body or face in any way.
Do you share my images publicly?
I love to share photos of my clients, as long as I have their permission to. I recognize the vulnerability in having your photo taken, and if you don’t feel comfortable with the world seeing your photos, you let me know and I will never post them, it's no big deal to me!
How much can I expect to spend?
Most of my clients spend between $1500-2000 on their images. I also offer interest free payment plans as a way for you to get the collection you desire most!
Do I need hair and makeup?
You do not need to do hair and make up for your photo session, that's completely your choice. Some of my clients prefer an all natural look to really embrace their beauty, and some of my clients prefer to go all out with hair and make up. It's all dependent on who you are as a person, and what you feel comfortable with.
What if I've never had photos done before?
That’s what I’m hoping for! It’s completely my job to create this experience for you, and make you look amazing and confident. Through posing, lighting, and deep convos to really create a comfortable space, you will receive amazing photos.
